WHY TODN

We source only the finest materials—OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper), rigid OCC (Single-Crystal Copper), and silver-plated OCC—each chosen for their ability to preserve signal integrity. OFC ensures warmth and consistency; OCC’s single-crystal structure eliminates grain boundaries, reducing distortion; and silver-plating boosts high-frequency conductivity, making every nuance of vocals, strings, and percussion shine.

Great quality optical cable (Toslink/SPDIF).The connectors are beautifully plated and pure copper. They look even better in person.Excellent connectivity, no dropouts or issues using them with my DAC (RME ADI-2/4 Pro SE) and TV.The braiding is good quality and should protect the wire from nicks and other wear from when vacuum cleaner bumps it or anything that could impact durability in daily use. My cat couldn't scratch through the braiding on the cable, which is a plus as well. The value looks good to me, as this is a high quality cable made from POF and pure copper connectors, something not often found in optical cables at this price-point/value.No complaints, and I like the packaging as well.I recommend TODN's optical cable if you're looking for a great optical cable that's built to last.

I bought this for my Xbox paired it with a Samsung Q990D soundbar system. Thumps my house pretty good. More than impressed with this cable.

This is a fantastically nicely made, and high-quality optical cable, I am very impressed with the durability and the build quality. Sound quality was fantastic when I was using it and it was easy to install as Toslink usually is. I am impressed with the value, even though this is a more expensive unit than most. I appreciate the braided cable and the durability and functionality of it.

Excellent quality cable. All of the TODN cables that I own are top notch. Expensive, but worth the money.

I wanted a high end interconnect cable for listening to SACD and conventional CD sources from my disc transport into my DAC. This is "the one."Great value at the listed price, heavy, solid and error-free connection. Highly recommended!

I got this for a desktop DAC (digital to analog converter) audio setup I have, and this matches the TODN interconnect I purchased. It works fine, though, being such a short run, that was a reasonable expectation. As another reviewer stated, gold connectors for optical digital transmission have absolutely no effect on sound. But since I was impressed with the overall quality of construction and look of the other TODN cable I had, I decided to get this cable, as well. By the way, POF stands for Plastic Optical Fiber, if you were wondering.

Be sure and remove the tiny plastic protective covers on the terminal ends before use. Although the gold plating on these optical Toslink connectors doesn't improve signal quality for digital audio transmission since it relies on light, not electricity, the cable does appear to be well constructed. As far as the sound with the cable between my TV and soundbar, I can't tell any difference from the thin Toslink cable that I had been using (as you would expect for digital transmission.)

Well-constructed and above-average optical cable.

I’m extremely happy with this optical cable. I ordered it to replace the thin gauge optical cable that came with my soundbar. This new optical cable is a nice thick gauge, it’s braided and has gold-plated connectors. I’m not a ‘professional’ audiophile, but I can tell that there is definitely an increase in sound quality from my previous cable. Buy with confidence.
