Surprise! It's an improvement

For a budget priced audio product I wasn't expecting much but I wound up being pleasantly surprised. I do think with digital it is all about transferring 1s and 0s but there is a part to play with hardware in the quickness and solidity of that delivery. Jitter and disruption of a signal can be a thing.I have a modest set up now but one that can be revealing on headphones. This cable replaces a previous coax cable for transferring from my CD player to a DAC that is then going to a STAX headphone amplifier. This new cable surprised me with a new level of clarity. It is still musical. In fact it's more musical to my ears. I'm sensitive in the high end of hearing audio and what I call micro dynamics. Those are the little micro sounds or audio clues that tell us more about the instruments or the room music is being recorded in. This cable helps me reveal those micro dynamics a bit more over the cable I used before. Absolutely worth it for the price I paid.

This is a fantastic digital coax cable. I have this hooked up to a WIIM Pro and a PS Audio Stellar Strata MkII with custom built speakers. The sound is fantastic and I'll uode TODN again for other audio cables.

The most important thing to know about this cable is that it provides a good, tight connection. Aside from that, the cable appears to be well made and does its job. I am not a person who believes cables, whether coaxial, speaker, etc make a difference.This cable does its job for a reasonable price. End of story (at least for me).

I purchased this cable to replace a high end digital cable worth three times as much. A little background. I spent a lot of money over many years building my sound system. As a reference, my speakers (35 years old now) cost $4,000. I put all high end components into the system. Theat includes cables, interconnects, and other odds and ends. My digital interconnect failed and so had to replace it. This was between my cd transport and my dac. I looked for a replacement but didn’t want to spend a lot. I found this cable on Amazon and it had a very good reviews. So I chose to replace a cable I hade that was a third of the price of my original.I was very pleased with the result. I can highly recommend this product. I am listening to this as I am writing this. You can’t go wrong.
